VICTORYTOUR

CAN’T SAY THANKS ENOUGH

for the opportunity to collaborate this year. I just love working with you guys and contributing to the beautiful work God is doing through you guys. As we jump in this treatment, keep in mind you can reach out with any questions. There is quite a bit of content and I tried my best to stay in a consistent lane. I feel like treating the content with a similar color pallet, grade and a handful of textures we could really pull off what you guys are going for visually. So feel free to dive in and whatever we land on we can begin executing. Again, let me know if you have any questions or if we need to go a different direction with any of these. Appreciate you!

VICTORY OPENER

VICTORY BELONGS TO JESUS

I am thinking for this part we could do a combination of the vibes from AIN’T NO GRAVE and HOW GREAT A KING. We would use Doré’s imagery along with stained glass & additional classical christian imagery to illustrate the content. And we would use a combo of the tearing to transition but I was also thinking we could use a contact sheet sort of effect as well.

RAISE A HALLELUJAH

Round two on this one. I would like to do some full screen movement like you see on ENDLESS ALLELUIA. However, I feel like we could add some sort of displacement on the content to make it feel more mosaic and a little more organic. You can see how they used the displacement on the sweater pattern to soften up the vector illustrations. I feel like this could take of the edge of any illustrations. Additionally I would like to use the full spectrum of color from our color pallet for the project.

GOODNESS OF GOD

I would like to use footage on this song. Something nature based and simple like these examples. They are repeted in the frame to represent the "All my days" aspect of the song. I feel that like the bubble visuals we did in the past, this leans on the details of our lives. The small things that fill our lives with gratitude for God's goodness.

This song is so good. From Johnny to the musicality of the song. So I am thinking we could take the film esthetic and apply it to Gustave Doré's illustration work or some textured stained glass. And really build out something that is recognizable and could add another layer of depth but keep it simple. I'd also lean more into the warmer tones of the pallet so it didn't feel as dark.

STAND IN YOUR LOVE

Throughout the song there are quite a few references to the house built on the rock. I like the idea of the hard vector shapes mixing with water color splotches. I feel like the blend work well with the rigid hard shape and the more organic shape of the splotch. They would provide a lot of energy for the dynamics in the song. From the soft acoustic start to the huge drum break.

The line “He’s riding on the storm.” keeps bringing me back to these visuals of these dark clouds rolling and flashes of lightning illuminating the landscape of the storm. I also feel like we could bring the footage or images into the design space for the tour by adding some texture to the footage and treating it like the lines image.

PROMISES NEVER FAIL

Love the pace of this song. And I feel like a little stop-motion style with well designed textures and design elements can pair well with the dynamics of the soft intro and driving bridge into the huge chorus.

THERE IS A NAME

I really feel like this song and Every Crown should both feel intricate and majestic like a tapestry of sorts that shifts and moves more like a backdrop to the band.

PRAISE IS A HIGHWAY

Love this look for this song. I feel like it could both be small and at any free flowing moments but I could also cover the song well as it builds. Additionally I feel like this would be a great way to sync some of the shapes and lines with what is happening musically. Also not sure if its too corny but I kind of like the idea of doing a road like Hillsong did in the PEACE lyric video. We will make it match what we are doing but just the idea.

DRENCHED IN LOVE

MM_002.gif

This song is such a celebratory and I would like to use images of the hymn and traditional imagery of christ and the resurrection. I feel like we can also do some pretty simple see and say and do smaller text of the full lyrics that act more like design elements. With the different elements being at different distances, the parallax could really elevate the audience experience and act more as an extension of the stage.

EVERY CROWN

I really feel like this song and There Is A Name should both feel intricate and majestic like a tapestry of sorts that shifts and moves more like a backdrop to the band.

HOW GREAT A KING

I really feel like the time signature allows us to do some more stop motion animation. I feel like we could really use the imagery to show the shift from the garden to the grave. A place that is full of life versus a place of death. I feel like the tearing of the paper can really expound on this shifting and changing between the two settings.

CHRIST IS RISEN

Like DRENCHED IN LOVE I feel like it would be great to have the sheet music for the hymn. But overall I feel like it could be really interesting to move through the different mediums of print, hymns, scriptures, images, maps, etc. And we could treat them with some displacement to keep the movement feeling organic and consistent. I also feel like it could be fun to have Hallelujah come up on the choruses. Just a throughout to center the action or we could just have the visuals act as more of a backdrop for the song.

LIVING HOPE

This song is so beautiful. I feel like we could create some smaller vignette images with textures that could backdrop the verses and keep it pretty simple. The verses and chorus are just so rich. I think we would have to keep it simple and really work towards layering them onto that final chorus. Elevation did a similar thing where some of these scenes like the 3 pillars for Jesus’s ministry. Its way less about where it is or how it was made and its a lot more about just providing a little visual support.

ENDLESS ALLELUIA

This is probably one of my favorite overall songs. In my life right now I am enamored with the everyday. Recently, I heard the phrase “Just a day like every other”. It’s not a new phrase but this time it hit me. We are often waiting or hoping for today or tomorrow to be like none other. Or we are looking ahead to one day. But this song makes me consider everyday being more like a thread building out this grander tapestry and how God see us in the weeds but he also sees that greater picture. So to play off of that I felt like something along these lines could work pretty well. It also definitely alludes to endlessness and so on.

RECKLESS LOVE

So I still love the idea of playing with light on this song. For the last one we used a projector to cast light through the miniature set to represent God walking in the woods in the cool of the day looking for Adam. I feel like if we stay with some light effects but also texturizing them to match it could work really well. Especially when we hit the bridge we could do a similar breaking of light in the screen as we did with the miniatures or like what Ezra did at the beginning of the TBOC Conference promo. Lastly, the MIND video is to reference the texture we could apply to the shapes to give them a more organic vibe versus a hard shape look. But dont watch it if you are prone to epileptic seizures ha. You have been warned ha.

NO LONGER SLAVES

Here is the second go at it. Listening through the song I still feel this need for an organic movement. I feel like these are some solid examples of how we could accomplish that with some organic abstract animations. I am thinking something similar to what you see in the first :35 of the video on the left and maybe utilizing some of the displacement shown in the right video.
